While we love your little ones, we have decided that our wedding will be an adults-only occasion. We hope you're still able to join our big day, but are of course understanding that you must make plans that work best for your family.
Do I need a car?
If you stay in Vail Village, or Lionshead Village - no! Both sides of Vail are very walkable, and there is a shuttle that can get guests from one village to the other. If you stay outside of Vail proper (in Eagle, Minturn, etc.) we would recommend having your own car and utilizing the parking lots available on either side of Vail, right off the highway.
Do I need to worry about traffic?
Because of the holiday weekend, we recommend planning your travel around expected traffic in & out of the mountains.
Avoid driving on I70:
Friday afternoon (after 12pm MT) heading west, towards Vail, and
Monday afternoon (after 11am MT) heading east, back to Denver.
If you have a flight home to catch in the Denver airport, make sure you are planning around the traffic to ensure you don't hit major delays.
It may also be a good idea to consider staying in Denver on Sunday night (if you fly home on Monday).
